I use a sponge jammed into gap at front and another at back of keel. Seems
to work fine while motoring with keel up a foot, until you get into wake of a
Hatteras. Someone suggested installing a piece of old inner tube fitted
tightly around keel and glued to bottom around trunk as a gasket. I've seen
this on other daggerboard boats but cannot find a way to glue it on without
screws...

I am interested in this matter as my lil 13' sailboat's daggerboard well also
splashes water when motoring out to ocean.
