I have the lapper and have converted it to fit a CDI
reefer-furler. I am in process of installing the CDI
equipment. I have as yet NO experience in it's use.

I only want to make one point that might slip by you as it did
me when I first bought my boat.

furlers that don't allow you to reef and furlers that do allow
you to reef.

The reefing type allows you to shorten sail to what is
appropriate for the winds.
