Potterers:

I am planning to install my oarlocks but I'm not sure how
to begin. I suppose I should just drill holes through
the fiberglass with an ordinary manual drill, filing it out
as necessary. Then, I suppose I need to cut blocks
of plywood or 2X4 as backing. Am I on the right path?

Has anyone ordered the 8 foot mainsail cover from BoatUS?
Do they fit OK? Is a telescoping 4-8 foot whisker pole about
right for the jib and genoa?

ECPA:

I was really sorry to miss the Cambridge sail. And supposedly
there was a Skipjack race that I really wanted to see as well.
Unfortunately, Floyd blew the water out and I'm stranded.
There will probably be no sailing at all for me this weekend.
