Hi folks,

I am the new owner of an old boat, it an HMS-18 #23. I have already =
comunicated with Judy B. and Jerry and would like to thank them for the =
information they gave me and for the warm welcome to the Potter =
community. I think you have a great group here.

I would like to learn more about the keel lifting tackle on the newer =
boats. The one I have has portable winch that you place on the cabin top =
and drop the line through an access hole in the top. This will certainly =
do it's intended job but since I'm likely going to be beaching the boat =
often it seems like it might be a hassel to use.
