Welcome to the fanatics of sailing! Is your boat a P-14, 15, 18 or 19? You
may want to identify it each time you post a question. In most cases the
answers to your questions will depend upon what boat you are sailing.

Although it probably won't make much difference to your launching and
retrieving, it's handy to know where you're sailing as well. Many on our
list are all over the place (that even fits some individuals!) We have
listees (I just made up that word) in just about every state and several
different countries.

It's possible that a trailer tongue extension can keep your tootsie's out of
the water, but again, the boat, and in this case the trailer (tilting? large
or small wheels?) makes a difference as to what you can and cannot do.
