correct?

Sort of, Corky is a 96 WWP-19 I had to replace the thimble at the chain
plate with a swagged end threded for a turnbuckle.

>How much separation needs to exist between the forestay and the CDI drum?

The fore stay goes through the drum and is fastened to the chain
plate with the above turnbuckle.

>How much separation needs to exist between the two at the mast connection,

The main reason , besides the turnbuckle connection, of the
swagged threaded end is so that is can be run through the luff extrusion,
then connected to the turnbuckle, which the drum slides over.

>i.e. can they share the bridle?

Do you mean the jib halyard block and the fore stay, I wanted to keep my
halyard so mounted it offset to the bridle, I find this unsatisfactory and
installed another bridle, at the same through bolt, just above the
forestay-roller furling.

>How do you store the extruded extension such that it doesn't get rebent?

Good question I wish I knew, I called CDI yesterday about this and
they are sending me a new extrusion under the lifetime warranty.

This system is pretty straight forward, I made the measurements for
the luff, which will need to be cut, and the forstay and had a local rigger
modify the stay for me, he subtracted the length for the turnbuckle. Next I
took my sail to the sail maker and had the necessary modification to the jib
luff so it will fit into the extrusion, assemble the whole mess and your in
business. Please feel free to contact me, or CDI at
