My name is Bill Boyer and just bought a P-15. In
Northern California the Potter Yachters seem to be
having fun so....
Let's start (re-start) a Southwestern Potter Club for
the Southwest including Southern California, Arizona,
and New Mexico. The goals are to have fun and share
information about our boats.
For starters, we are planning a daytime "Sail" at Dana
Point, CA on Saturday, October 30, 1999 at 10am at the
launch ramp (next to Doheny State Park). It costs $10
to launch plus $1 per person. We'll sail until about
1pm then raft up (anchor and tie together) at the
north end of the harbor near the Pilgrim. Bring your
own lunch. We will plan our next trip and decide on
how we want to grow the Club.
After lunch we will sail out of the harbor and pit our
skills against the sea. A quick race between the bouys
may erupt. Go home when evening comes or stay for
dinner at one of the yacht clubs. Please let me know
if you are coming, so I'll know how many to expect.
