Hi Judy & All

This is a FOAF rumor I heard about racing, genoas and whisker poles.

There is a lake near Waco Texas where ther is a yatch club. They had races.

One day a fellow was racing with his wife who was wearing one of those one
piece swimsuits that zip up in front.

They were cruising along and had obtained the lead. They had rounded the
mark and were headed down wind. The whisker pole was broken, so when he
raised the Genoa the skipper sent his wife forward to hold the Genoa out.

While she was holding the sail her suit came undone and began falling
towards her knees. When she bent down to pull it up, her husband yelled for
her to hold out the genny. When she complained that her suit was falling out
he remarked: "Everyone has seen a naked woman, no one has ever seen me win a
race, so forget your suit and hold up the %$#@& genny!
