This is to let all who might not know yet there is a Long Beach to
Newport sail, (about 16 miles) with the newly reformed SouthWestern Potter
Club. So far we have 3 P15's and 1 P19 going. If anyone is interested please
contact me at chrdvd@gte.net This is a one way sail so we will be launching,
parking our boats at the public dock at Alamitos Bay, driving our trailers
back to Newport to that launch ramp,Taking the "Chardy Express" (my wifes
van) back to Long Beach, Having Breakfast at Schooner or Later, and then
sailing. A bit of work but its a glorious sail that should be worth it!
Hence an early start time is critical. We will be meeting at the Davis
launch ramp at 6am! Bring a thermos of coffee and a jacket!
