Greetings All:

I've been looking at some of the photographs of the recent shenagins in
California and have noted that the new P-19 which Scott and Glenn
hauled to San Francisco was rigged for towing slightly differently than I
rig my trailer/boat. Specifically: there appeared to be a line from the
mast, at the top of the crutch, to each of the stern cleats. I'm assuming
that these lines are in place to add some stability while the boat is being
towed. I haven't been doing this when towing the boat. Does anyone
else add these extra lines during towing and would you recommend that I
begin to do it? Your comments are always welcome.

On a personal note, I have been reassigned in my job and will be moving
away from Thunder Bay, on Lake Superior, to Kenora, on Lake of the
Woods. I understand that Lake of the Woods has some great sailing so
am looking forward to introducing my Potter to a new body of water. It
has only seen three different lakes so far.
