For the P-15, I like to recommend the Ronstan RF5 pivoting base block w/
integral cam cleat mounted near the base of the mast. These allow you to
operate the halyards from the cockpit, the mast, or the foredeck and, best of
all, since they are mounted to the mast rather than the cabin top they don't
increase the time required to rig the boat.

You have probably already thought of this, but if not, keep in mind that
running the main halyard aft is really only practical if the main had been
fitted with sail slugs. If you are still using the bolt rope in the slot, you
will need to go to the mast to feed the boltrope regardless of where your
halyard is led. Reefing will also require modification if you wish to do this
entirely from the cockpit.
