Hi Harry, Larry, webgang and all.
Bruce (Hood) here.. I don't have lazyjacks on Aillte ...just a simple
one
line topping lift.. I think Bruce Little's P-19 set up, was a static
line from
the masthead about half way down the main then split into an "inverted
Y", the two ends of the Y then were led under the boom through the
existing eyestraps for mainsheet and boom vang, each end then led
toward the center of the boom , attached to a ring... then a line from
the ring led up to the masthead, over a block and down to a cleat at
the mast base.. Left slack the bottom legs of the inverted Y collect
the
sail if you release the halyard and drop the main.. If you then raise
the
boom by pulling down on the cleated line the whole works raises up
topping lift fashion to clear the cockpit..
