After a reading of the Honda BF2D shop manual I couldn`t find any reason for a
mandatory fresh water rinse after use; there is no exhaust system pump and no
comment in the Maintenance section about fresh water flush. for the Exhaust.
I have had the '2' since August, operating in tidal waters, and have less than
2 hours on it. I don`t see any need, and don`t see any way to 'flush' (short
of sticking a hose in the exhaust port - which might result in water in the
cylinder).
I delayed answering the question before, figuring we would get answer from a
long time user.
May you have Clear skies, Gentle seas, and a Soldier's wind for all your days!
