Todd, I've sailed and touched a P19 for 13 years now, often for long
periods and far "afield." Moreover, I'm looking at one right now. ;-) I've
taken the ground an expected number of times in that period, with no
serious damage.

Overall, I find your reasoning flawless and am in complete agreement with
your implied opinion.
