Why not invest in a 'boom tent for the 15? - I`ve sewn transom curtains
for our 19 and hope to finish side curtains this winter - using
Sunbrella, but light canvas would be cheaper and provide jus as much
privacy....... You might get the 'Skipper' to do the sewing after you take
the measurements - division of labor so to speak, - Or you might learn a
new skill<G>

PS
Take an overnighter(or at least spend a night), w/the 'Skipper' on both
boats before deciding; try for a 15 that has a P-Potti installed<G>(Ladies
make poor 'Lee rail Vikings'<LOL >
Your heights/weights will make a significant difference in comfort, as
well as whether you will daysail/overnight or go for more extensive
outings. I know there are WWP-19 sailors(large 6'+/>190#+)who will say
that the berths are quite comfortable; neither my Skipper nor I find them
so(we are 6'+ 215#/5-11 190#). The V-berths are long enough but need to be
about 4" lower to allow one to sleep with their back against the hull( I
have added a 'stowaway `thwarships bunk' at the ladder for the Skipper) -
the quarter berths are fit only for flotation/stowage and access to the
inner transom, so the Delta in sleepng space between the 15 an 19 may not
be as great as one would suppose.
