Kellan et al, being in the auto repair biz, I can say I don't trust "new
and improved" gas older than a couple o months. MTBE and Alchohol(up to
15%) seem to have a very short shelf life. Gas stabilizer keeps the carb
from plugging up with varnish, its basicly kerosene and so doesn't
evaporate completely. The fuel still seems to sour. The stuff will probably
work in an older 2 stroke, but I wouldn't like to trust my life or boat to
that. HTH
