Seriously.. now..

Somewhere in a North Sail bulletin I read that after 70 mph edges of furled
sail get ripped off.. After a while rest of sail is ripped to pieces so
there's no sail left. Only the sheets survive.. ( not so seriously - It
figures... Shit would survive.. {:^) )

They recommend removing sail from furler if you expect wind over 50 MPH. They
also recommend not leaving it on for years on end..
