Along these lines, has anybody tried to turn the cockpit of either a P15 or
a P19 into a bunk as you can do with the Rhodes 22? I am trying to imagine a
way to fill the cockpit well with a couple storage compartments and
completely cover it with foam over the top allowing someone to sleep there
under a boom tent and mosquito netting. I would like to be able to remove a
center "square" or two of padding to reveal a space for legs if you wanted
to sail sitting as we normally do. You would still have the sides above the
seats to lean against. Does this make sense to anybody?

Has anybody tried something simple like a single width air mattress in the
P15? They're inexpensive, and you can adjust the firmness to your liking by

inflating it more or less. Just curious how it would work as I have been
thinking of trying it.
