So, er, how do they bend it? Is it some sort of high tech tabernacle? And
is that the end of it? Is the mast short enough not to stick out behind the
boat a long ways? I've always thought a lug or lateen rig would be nice in
that regard, but the Compac seems like a tall rig to me. . .Incidentally,
somebody walked up behind me yesterday when I was stepping the mast on my 15
and asked if i needed help. . .I sort of half turned to tell them thanks but
there was nothing to it and durned near dropped the thing on a passing
Pontiac. Even a 15's mast deserves a little respect. . .
