I added stanchions last fall, and will get the lifelines run this spring.
I used a place called Tops-In-Quality; the local Boat/US subs out all their
custom stainless steel work to them. They have a web page at
http://www.topsinquality.com.

I had them fabricate two 18" stanchions with bases and two deck-mounted anchor
points to terminate the lifelines. I'm only running the lifelines back to
the shrouds, not all the way to the stern. I needed the shorter 18" stanchions
so I could still get the boat into my garage.
