1. A radar reflector would be handy to have aboard due to the sudden
fogs that roll in around Cape Cod and Buzzards bay.
2. A fold up dingy would be handy in case you want to anchor out where
the tide will leave you high and dry at low water but at high water your
boat might be fifty feet out in 8 feet of water; will save you from
having to swim out to the boat.
3. If you plan to sail off-shore a registered PERB.
4. Have a bucket on board to bail out the boat.(a CG requirement)
5. A spare drain plug.
6. A boathook paddle combination.
7. A tow rope in case of lack of wind and your motor won't start.
8. A spare anchor in case your regular one gets caught on the bottom.
