Not to mention the annual $5 grand you pay to KEEP IT going! Slip, bottom
paint, bottom cleaning, wood treatments, did I mention wood treatments?
Beautiful vessels--my absolute favorite "looking" boat. Every time I see one
(we have two for sale here in Alameda), I get this longing to sell everything
else (including my tow vehicle) and *invest* in one ;^). The problem is not
finding the money to buy it as much as it is maintaining that beautiful
patina. After I've purchased it, let's see that's $2,000 if it needs sails;
$1700 a year for the slip; $800 for the bottom cleaning; $1500 for the bottom
paint; ouch it's getting painfully expense and I haven't gotten to the good
stuff yet! ;-) Oh, and then there's the time it takes to do all those things to
it. (God forbid that the inboard should develop a "clitty-clank").

Sadly, they don't make them anymore--But info is still out there to look at
URL: http://www.pacificseacraft.com Also discontinued is the Dana. I like it
too and the 34' Voyager (still in production) but there's something more
appealing about the Flicka. If someone else is funding, I'm in the market!!

Last time I checked it ran over $ 30,000 for a 20' LOD boat. That is without
the extra 5 to 6 thousand you usually spend to bring it to your likes...
