Not nice, agreed. However only one side of the conversation was presented,
and we do not know what was said to prompt this response.

You are attempting to justify your actions, which is an excuse for the main
issue. This was a personal conversation between you and Susan, which the
public was not intended to be a part of, and should not have. Your actions
show several levels of immaturity.

For better or worse, probably worse, I won't expect to hear anything more
from Susan. The impression left with Susan of this group as a collective
is probably destroyed and perhaps to some extent her impression of the
Potter, because people are behind every Potter. I'm ashamed of this
thought. Imagine your shock should you have found a private message of
yours posted to a public forum, and out of context. It's been done to me
and I felt horrible.

I think an apology to the group is in order.
