Our Honda 4-stroke worked very poorly at high altitude (6000') on its
stock jet (a microscopic brass thingy in the carburator). When we
installed the high-altitude jet (a 10 minute operation that even I can
do) the motor worked fine. The only drag is having to remember which
jet is installed when going back down to sea level. Which reminds me, I
need to switch the thing again before putting in at Tahoe.
