I replaced the 1-1/8" ALUMINUM slides with 1-1/2" slides using pop rivets
and moving the edge of the aluminum to the edge of the molded cabin top. No
bind, easy to open and shut and the price was under 10 bucks. The wider
carpet stop has more angle in the bend and it seems to work fine. The hole
spacing is still 6".
