Hello Folks,
Today I installed a new CDI Genoa jib reefing /
furling system on my P-15, Lil. The jib is a new tan
bark 150 Genoa from UK sails. My main reason for this
acquisition was to facilitate reduction of sail in
building winds. With one control line I can reduce the
sail amount to any smaller size including fully
reefed. While I used a downhaul on my working jib for
this purpose, my only option was all or nothing. Plus,
I want to see if I can keep up with Dave Lang and his
furling genoa and bow sprit. Next challenge is to
launch and try it out.
