Greetings all:
Here's a thought. Next time you change your oil, decant gasoline into the
empty quart bottles, adjust the amount of oil to be added (2 cycle only) and
use on Potter with internal tank only.
Also, I recently owned a circa '92 Evinrude 4, 2 cylinder, that came with a
small (1.75 liter) saddle tank that mounted directly on the engine. The tank
connected directly to the external tank fitting and came with an inline bulb
primer. The tank cap was vented and had a captive chain. I dis-remember
the exact method of attachment to the engine but I do know that it wouldn't
fit on the circa 94 Evinrude 6, 2 cyclinder, that I replaced it with.
