Dear Listmates, more questions...
(4) Does the added range make the added weight and expense of a
VHF-nonhandheld worth it on a P-15? I've heard the range isn't much with the
handheld, battery operated VHF's. I sail in the Gulf of Mexico and would like
to go to beautiful islands with pelicans and alligators that are barely out
of sight of the coast. I am not one to take chances.
(5) I've heard the the cabin door is supposed to turn into a cockpit table. I
keep waiting but mine hasn't done that yet. Are there supports I am missing
or what? Can someone please describe this great trick?
