Ah yes!

This has beeen atttempted.

However, Dudes attempted installation under cockpit floor by removing
flotation. This violated federal boating safety laws as all vessels under 20'
must be able to float upside down. Needless to say the person was fined
severely.

In addition, The person could not get the Jato exhaust out through that 1/2"
cockpit drain installed at stern under water level after he had installed
Jato under cockpit. It seems his torpedo's prop completely took over the
space. He did leave the flapper valve on it though. Everytime he goes faster
than 3 knots know he complains of a flapping noise from the stern...

Potter warranty service has expended a fortune attempting to quell that
flapping noise.
