[WWP] AFT BULKHEADS

I have an old Potter, early 70's. My bulkheads are only pieces of plywood
that seem to have one purpose--to hide the ugly flotation. It simply gives a
more finished look inside the cabin. I have removed them, as well as the
flotation, to get to the self bailing set up as well as the through the deck
hardware. After I get done working, I will replace flotation, and put the
bulkheads back, because it looks better that way. I am not familiar with
the newer Potters, but I did see them at the factory, and would imagine they
have the same function. Removing them is really the only way to have decent
access to all the goodies under the cockpit. Paul Baker, P-14, California
