My sister owned a Snark Sunchaser Sloop for 8 yrs. We dragged it all over the
place but mostly sailed in local lakes and had a lot of fun with it along the
way. Until.. my "supersmart, Know-it-all, supermilitary" brother jumped
inside it and cracked the hull while making a hole in floor. I enjoyed it
quite a few times before he wrecked it. Whatever you do to one of this foam
sailboats make sure you do not jump down from a 2' higher dock unless you way
less than 100 lbs.

If you feel like you would like to make it stronger you can remove the
polyethylene(?) skin, paint with epoxy and then cover with fibreglass cloth
and resin. This makes it a bit heavier but a lot more sturdy if you regularly
sail into rock strewn beaches.

when
we had it at the mooring, they dont look that strong but they are very
strong, and virtually unsinkable, look around and find a used one, we paid
two hundred for ours, it works well for cartopping , probably one of the
most
boats for the money, dont know where u are located, but we are in Ohio ,
would sell, , many people have these sitting or laying in their garages and
dont bother to try to sell due to the small amount that they would ask for
them, good value very sturdy, keep looking and enjoy, Mike
