Bruno's Island

Last year we made two trips to Bruno's Island in the heart of the Delta, and this year we are going to do it again. This place is a real jewel. It has protected slips with power hookups, a nice picnic area with a barbecue. They also have flush toilets and hot showers. And best of all, they LOVE sailboats! Nearby there is a floating store, a floating yacht club, a pizza place and a funky bar. Bruno's also has a R.V. campground. Overnight fees are $10.00 (what a deal).

We will be launching at B&W Marina and sail the 5 miles to Bruno's. To get to B&W. take highway 4 to Antioch, than go over the bridge toward Rio Vista. When you come to Highway 12 make a right turn towards Lodi. Go about 4 miles and just before you cross a bridge turn left on Brennan Island Rd. We plan to be in the water by 9:AM. The fleet should leave at the same time because we have to open the draw bridge. If you have any questions about Bruno's Island call Sharon.
