I modified a Mooney Mite aircraft once by installing a small gasoline tank
under the seat, and used a boat bulb-pump to transfer fuel to an overhead
tank. It was an illegal (FAA) modification and I removed it after one flight.
<grin>
Worked OK but as I remember it took a heck of a lot of squeezing to transfer a
gal of gas. But, it might be just the thing for a small outboard tank.
