I also have the little bulkheads in my P-15.
After I turtled my Potter last summer, I was determined to add extra
flotation. It looked like a loty of room was available under the seat,
so I cut the bulkheads out. My plan was to remove the flotation
blocks, cut them into smaller pieces tro fit in tighter areas and add
extra flotation.
It was a real mess, lot of work and I really don't think it was worth
it. I ended up cutting new "mini bulkheads" from plywood and
reinstalling them. If I had it to do again, I wouldn't mess with it.
