The only thing I can think of is a boom shade of some sort, although the measurements seem a bit short for that. Does it have sleeves for a dowel at each end.

If you're not in a big hurry I'll make a copy of my 1989 "manual" - I use the term loosely and you should form your expectations accordingly - and send it to you. All I ask in return is that you do the same for the next person. (A better alternative would be that someone with the time and the equipment scan it and make it available electronically. Unfortunately, I have neither.)

(I suppose there are copyright issues here. Hopefully, given the age of the source, IM won't get fussy about it.)
