I placed mine in the deadspace under the porta-potti. You can reach it from
the starboard hatch over the battery. I used Marine-Tex epoxy.

One thing to be aware of is that the depth alarm is off when you turn the
unit on; you must enable the depth alarm every time. I found that one out
the hard way.
