Bill--

I apologize for sending this memo to the entire group, but I cannot find your
e-mail address and I'm confident you'll get it this way, and the information
may be interesting to everyone else anyway.

I just ordered a new book that's to be released in a couple of weeks called,
"Cost-Conscious Cruiser" written by Lin and Larry Pardey. While ordering it,
the publisher, Paradise Cay Publications (800-736-4509) asked me a little
about the Potter. In describing the versatility of the Potter I told them
about your Bahamas sail and then trailering to Lake Tahoe for the Tahoe sail.
I told them how much I had enjoyed reading your Bahamas account. They
(Paradise Cay Publications) also publish a magazine called, "This Old Boat"
and a couple of others. They said they would be interested in talking to you
about publishing your story. They also indicated they may be able to pay you
for it.

The man I spoke with said they will have a booth at the Oakland Boat Show this
weekend. I know you're still somewhere in the area, so if you are at that
show you may want to stop by their booth. I gave them your name. If you are
unable to do that you may want to call them. Again, their number is (800)
736-4509.

I received a sample issue of "Good Old Boat" and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
If you or anyone else wants to find out more, they have a web site:
http://www.goodoldboat.com.
