Has anyone installed spreaders on the upper shrouds of a P19? It
appears on the Dwyer pages as a part for the mast extrusion, but was not
included from IM. When I was at the lake this past weekend, I noticed
that the P19 was the only boat there, without them. If this is a design
compromise, I would just as well go ahead and add them, rather than find
out in the future that I should have had them. Considering the
alternatives, the $25.00 or so, may be well woth the investment. It
appears that they have the effect of a wider virtual shroud angle,
therefore more lateral support, for the top mast section.
