I also am interested in the sharing info about stereo mounts. Up to now we
have been using a boom box with removable speakers. I have found that you
cannot hear the music very well from speakers located inside the cabin. I
also try to minimize the number of holes through to the exterior, but when
my wife and I are out pushing the limits in a blow, we keep the cabin
hatches battened down and love to play the Boston Pops CD "Victory at Sea"
when we have spray coming over the bow. So I guess that will require water
proof speakers through one ( or more) of the bulkheads in the cockpit area.
Any one have suggestions about brands of waterproof speakers? I have
noticed there is quiet a spread in prices of various speaker manufacturers.
