Greetings all:

Further to Eric's posting about bug screens, last year Linda and I
purchased a commercial bug screen which fit over the forward hatch on
the P-19. The screen simply drapes over the hatch and is held in place
with weights around the edge of the screen. The screen comes with a
nice little case so it is easy to stow. It worked quite well for us so it is
our intention to buy a similar, but larger, screen to fit the companionway.
Last year we tucked coleman screening into the gap between the
companionway cover and drop board. This worked for keeping the
Northwestern Ontario mosquitoes (which are the biggest and most
voracious in the world!) at bay but was less than satisfactory.
