Ted,

I got a great idea from Chuck, here on the list, that
I'm going to be rigging up this weekend. He uses two
bow stops mounted on metal straps with a hole about
1/3 from the top bow stop where the new assembly now
mounts where the old bow stop was. The winch cable
feeds between the two, there's a bow stop above and
below the cable, holding the bow snuggly. The assembly
pivots on the bolt so that the bow pushes the top bow
stop back and the bottom bow stop comes forward to
meet up with the bow. Really simple solution to the
problem I have. I think Chuck did, and I am going to
put a sleeve over the bolt so the threads don't chew
up the line. The sleeve will also rotate around the
bolt, somewhat akin to a pulley for the line as you
wind it in. Thanks, Chuck!
