Good to see a UK Potter in production again. What's interesting is that it
is a gunter rig and has the lines of the original Stanley Smith WWP, but it
has a fiberglass hull. If the photo is correct, the forward face of the
cabin has a reverse angle. That isn't as pretty or as streamlined but
should have the effect of reducing the amount of spray that comes over the
top. Any water hitting the forward face would tend to be deflected downward
instead. The E-type also has the smaller sail plan used on the Smith
Potters and the gunter-rigged U.S. Potters like mine.
