Hey guy! I am sure that everybody else on the list wishes you well with
your heart catherization. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Brushes like that tend to focus us a bit better so I am sure you will
come out healthier and with a new outlook on life.

About two years ago I woke up being cut out of a ball of red sheet metal
that had been a Subaru after an idiot ran a red light and broadsided me
at 50MPH. My whole attitude changed after that. Told boss I only
worked eight hours per day and quit being quite so anal about saving for
retirement. Boss now works only eight hours too and I have a new
Potter (...er used new potter --- with lots and lots of new sails
[spinnaker came last night], a new motor and new cushions!).

Life is great and you'll be fine.

Keep us posted...

The whole thing started with massive gastric distress (Relafen?) and leg pain.
Then I went to doctor and he made comment that heart problems hide under gas
pains. So, he sent me for a stress test. Aced it. But, failed the nuclear
medicine exam....

When I first learned about Cardiac Catheterization procedure I immediately
made my Last Will and Testament. I think I bent over and kissed my A.. good
bye... Thanks to you guys I feel a lot better now... I no longer walk bent
over...

I wish to thank all of you that have wished me well and sent stories of
personal experience with the procedure. I had no idea there were that many.
It sure makes me feel a hell of a lot better about it. I'm still scared but
feel a lot better about it than before. Again, thanks!

I had my reckoning with mortality when my Dad died in 1995. After that I
became way less anal about saving for the future and started spending most of
the dough. Wherein I acquired a new 20' Sunbird/Neptune powerboat (1995-thanks
to AOL stock), new small 13' Sovereign Island Express sailboat (1996-Intel
stock), new Yamaha Scooter (1997) and later joined the world of Potterdom with
a new P19 (also thanks to AOL stock) last year. I didn't think I could add any
more toys but am fondly looking at Corvettes. I'm safe there, cause I cannot
afford one. Plus, I find them unusually uncomfortable. I've become too used to
riding up in a Van where you can look over tops of cars. I guess I'll just
get a Clinton Growing Nose Watch. ;^)

I am now extremely aware of need for regular physical exercise to keep them
old fuel lines from clogging (just like an outboard motor) and diet to reduce
the clogging cholesterol (resin?). Will make it part of my life instead of
remaining a couch potato... A mile a day keeps the knife away...

Although we all have disagreements once a while we seem to get over them
quickly. Something extremely important for our health. This is the finest
group of people I have ever had the pleasure to converse. Meeting quite a few
of them has reinforced this belief.

Thank you

{:^)
