I love mining the little nuggets of nautical wisdom from this list...

>3) walk boat to side of ramp and beach

When I had my P-14 I always stepped the mast while the boat was on the
trailer. A difference may be that my older model had wooden spars that when
through the cabin top. The wood might have been more cumbersome than the
high speed low drag aluminum units that most of you are sporting.

I guess me question is what is the consensus, if there is one, on stepping
the mast while afloat. Is this a common practice? Thanks!
