The Isle of Wight looked great yesterday. Gin-clear air at Lymington. I
wasn't sailing but was looking for a berth for the summer. I have this fancy
to have URSA MINOR at a dock somewhere so that I can just dawdle down, tinnies
and bag-lunch in hand, cast off and go sailing. I could do without the
trailing, rigging, launching, recovering, unrigging and trailing. Hang the
expense. The 2 marinas I visited yesterady wanted a minimum of about £850 stg
for the berth. That's a lot, especially in $; around $1360 I reckon.

Anybody know of a cheap mooring spare on the Solent or nearby?
