Only if you want a good case of carpal tunnel syndrome. The operative word is
primer; they're not intended for use as a pump. I installed one on my
Catalina 25 as an emergency 'pump' for the diesel as the fuel pump was
electric (go figure). I could keep the engine running by using it <just
barely> but it was not something I would want to HAVE to do...
