I'm a terrible judge of wind speed but here are my guesses:

10 is nice, 15 is still fun, reef at 20, drop the jib at 25 and go home by 30.

I've been told that a Potter 15 can be sailed under reefed main alone in 30
kts.if the cb is raised 15 degrees or so to move the center of resistance aft
and the downhaul and outhaul are pulled real tight to move the draft forward and
flatten the sail. When I get more experience (or more foolish), maybe I'll try
it......

Now my questions:

For you P15 sailors:

1. What do you consider an "ideal" wind speed for maximum
enjoyment and comfort?

2. At about what wind speed do you reef?

3. At what wind speed do you just stay at home or at the dock?

Thanks.
