HI All.
Cost is a large consideration when you are building an affordable, production
sailboat. The cheaper harken blocks did suffice and seem to last
extraordinarily well. If you're designing the perpetual time machine and
would we willing to pay the price, you would still probably not be able to
understand the high cost of some of the parts or be willing to pay the price.
The individual should upgrade and innovate the boat as one learns the art of
refinement, even as the manufacturer should. Feed back and understanding can
go along way to improving the product.
