Gang,

Got the sail slugs installed on my mainsail, and yesterday
afternoon in the 30 minutes the wind wasn't trying to blow
us away got to raise it and see how it works. Seems to be
good. Can't wait to try it for real, maybe this weekend.
That will also give me the chance to actually rig the main
sheet properly since I have the standup blocks installed
on the transom and the double block on the boom. Took the
old transom blocks and installed them as jib sheet blocks
to replace the ones that look like they came out of a
crackerjack box and are about worn out. Have resealed
everything I have removed and installed large washers.
Some progress on all those things I promised myself I'd
get done last winter. <bg>
