Recent note by Richard Karem suggests it is not a good idea to lock down
the foam floatation under the cockpit seats. I have always kept them
locked in (with a net mesh) to assure they did not come loose during
capsize and float out the hatchway. I know the hatch should be closed,
but ----.

Would appreciate any further thoughts folks have on this.
